The Java Bead is a warm and inviting shop overlooking the LaHave River. We offer high quality beads, findings, tools, classes, books and magazines. We carry a huge selection of Czech glass, semi-precious stone, Bali sterling silver, Japanese seed and Swarovski crystal beads. Our classes are fun, relaxing and very rewarding. We serve Quest fair trade organic coffees as well as ''King Street Blend'', found exclusively at The Java Bead. We also sell Quest whole bean coffee for you to take home and enjoy. We have a nice selection of handcrafted sterling silver jewellery and wares including mosaic candle holders and tea cup windchimes.
Our classes are fun, relaxing and very rewarding. You will learn everything from the basics in ''Basic Bead Stringing'' to more complex and challenging wire working techniques. Each project will offer something new. If you are a beginner with little or no experience, we suggest you start with the ''Basic Bead Stringing'' class first and then the ''Wire Wrap'' classs. This will give you a good foundation and knowledge of the terms, techniques and tools to venture on to more exciting and challenging projects.
